The Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD), a Hong Kong-based governmental body dedicated to ensuring food safety and maintaining a clean, hygienic living environment for the populace. Established in 2000, its main areas of focus include comprehensive environmental hygiene services, food safety control via the Centre for Food Safety, management of public facilities like markets and slaughterhouses, and enforcement of public cleanliness regulations.
