The 'Queen of Anisong Rock', Masami Okui, returns to Hong Kong after nearly two years to raise the roof with local otaku.

Okui last came to the city with JAM Project on their 'JAM Project World Flight 2008' tour. This time she's on her own for a solo show that should not be missed.

Tickets for 'Masami Okui Asia Tour 2010 - Troubadour - vol.1 in Hong Kong' are on sale through HK Ticketing and Tom Lee Music outlets for HK$480.

The concert will be held on Friday in the third-floor lecture hall of Hitec in Kowloon Bay. Doors open at 7.15pm, while curtain time is around 8.15pm. The performance is estimated to last around two hours (so bring plenty of water).

Okui has sung anime theme songs for such shows as Slayers, Tekkaman Blade II and Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters, to name just a few.

The special guest performer is guitarist Macaroni, who will join Okui for an acoustic duet.

The concert marks the end of Okui's Asian tour, so expect her to go all out. If you can't make it, she'll be back in town on December 23, when she will bring along JAM Project co-members Hironobu Kageyama, Masaaki Endoh, Hiroshi Kitadani and Yoshiki Fukuyama.

JAM Project mark their 10th anniversary this year, and their celebratory Hong Kong concert will be the only one outside Japan.

Tickets for Friday's show are still available, but don't wait too long to get them.
