The school celebrated the launch of the 2014/2015 academic year with a ceremony in the school hall on September 1.

Guest of honour Connie Lau Yin-hing, the Ombudsman, two alumni, Lau Leung Yuk-ying and Dr Yip Shu-wing, Lau Kwok-wai, the school supervisor, and Principal, Tsang Yau-shing, all joined the ceremony.

In his speech, Lau Kwok-wai praised the unique school culture which brings students from all backgrounds together. This creates a wonderful learning atmosphere, helping students to pursue their goals, he said.

He called on all students to cherish every moment of their school life.

Connie Lau, a civil servant for many years, said efficiency and honesty are crucial for good governance.

She urged students to chase their dreams, work hard and contribute to society.
