I have never thought about a day out with my parents, as we seldom go to a country park at weekends. Well, my perfect date with my parents, I don’t think a little trip to a country park would satisfy this greedy me. As for visiting museums, I think this would bore my dad, but anyway, I have a great idea now.

Hong Kong is a busy city, and Tuen Mun, where I lived, which is quite remote and far-away from the central, is not also exceptional. However, there is always some surprise inside somewhere you don’t think there is.

Lam Tei Reservoir in Lam Tei has been considered as the backyard of Lam Tei. And so I think this is a good choice for my family, as my elder sister always wants to hike around as well.

Here’s my plan: first, we are going to start our trip at 9.00am at the town center of Tuen Mun, and walk along to our home after our breakfast. Second, we will hike until the Lam Tei Reservoir. We can take photo on it, the splendid reflection. This will use up around two to three hours I think. During the hike we can have a lot of fun that we can talk a lot and know more about others, as we don’t use to talk a lot at home. Each of us has our own duties to do, and also our family isn’t a talkative one. Third, when we arrive our home, we will have a bath before our lunch. I am going to plan our lunch in a restaurant just next to our home. Then, it should come up with a simple thing- play. We can play games like Rummikub, which is my favorite and the best game I have ever played. At around four, we can set off to a cooking shop, which prepare the ingredients and then we can use them to cook, I choose to go there since I have never been to there and I want to try it.

This is what I want to have with my parents. I hope it could be true and they would be pleased with my plan.
