"Don't underestimate us. We are possibly one of the strongest minorities in the world, as we never stop fighting for equality in society. There is nothing wrong with expressing affection for people of the same gender. We are the ones who stay true to ourselves and we wish to be accepted as couples who deserve the right to love and to contribute to society just as what you call 'normal' citizens do."

"Being homosexual is not a disease or an illness. It is inborn and is as normal as any other sexual orientation. Majorities and minorities do not indicate right or wrong. All we hope for in society is the opportunity to understand and to be understood. We need to understand your doubts, and we will help you understand our views and needs. Please remember one thing: we can love as much as anyone else. And we can also just be friends, even if you are of the gender we find attractive. So you shouldn't be afraid of us. In any case, respect always comes first."

"You don't have to be gay to support gay people, just like you don't have to be Obama to support him as US president. It is not a sin to be homosexual; but it is a sin to discriminate against anyone, including LGBTs, because God made us who we are and it is a characteristic born within us. I don't think anyone would be a lesbian if they had a choice. That is who we are. And we might not be able to produce children with a partner, but there are many orphans in the world that we can adopt and care for."

"I am gay to be gay. What's more, as countries emphasise the freedom of rights, same-sex marriage should be legalised globally. Different people have different spouse-selection standards, and they should have the right to choose a spouse of their own sex."

"I am who I am and I am proud of myself! I am not choosing, or doing, anything unhealthy or destructive. All I am doing is loving. Although love means something different to everyone, we all wish to love ourselves and be loved by others. That means we all need love and we are all equal in love. So there is no reason to make judgments about who I should love. Besides, life is too short to wake up with regrets. Why should I choose to live a life filled with sorrow and regrets? This is my life and this is the way I love!"
