Second and third place in the boys' competition went to La Salle College and Wah Yan College (Kowloon) repectively, while DGS were followed by Good Hope School and Heep Yunn School.
The final day saw a few new records made at the inter-school competition. Including DGS's Yuen Wing-nam, 17, who set a new record of 14.30 seconds, and won gold in the A-grade girls' 100m hurdle race.
Leung Yee-ting, 18, representing Good Hope School (GHS), broke the A-grade girls' 100m record in the final with a time of 12.55 seconds.
Yee-ting said she was delighted with the new record: "The race requires explosive force and perseverance. I nearly came in second but I kept the pace. It's exciting to finally win," she says.
Another GHS runner, Poon Hang-wai, 18, also set a new record in the A-grade girls' 200m by finishing in 25.59 seconds.
Ko Ho-long, 17, from St. Joseph's Anglo Chinese School broke the A-grade Triple Jump at 14.24 to win gold.
the first two boys across the finish line in the A-grade 800m, Leung Ho-chun, 18, from Wan Yan College (Kowloon), and Lau Chak-kuen, 18, from Yu Chun Keung Memorial College (YCKMC), both broke the race record with 1:55.58 and 1:56.07, respectively.
In the A-grade 1500m, the winner, DBS's Wong Tsz-to, 17, and the first runner up, YCKMC's Lau Chak-kuen, both broke the race record with 4:06.23 and 4:07.76, respectively.
DBS's Tsz-to had also broken the record in the A-grade boys 5000m with a time of 15:46.41 on February 23.
