When I Miss You

Grandma, there is so much that I miss.
Your gentle hugs and tender kisses.
I still remember your warm embrace
And picture yet your loving face.

Your tasks were never done,
And I bet Heaven needed one.
For angels came, took her hand.
And led her to God's promised land.

Although there's sadness I know,
But she's waiting there, her face aglow.
I close my eyes and I can see;
Her arms are open, wide for me.

Written with love,
Meg.
