Recap by phillip woo

Plunged late Foremost Teddy led from gate three and drew clear when asked for more in the straight run for a first win at his 27th start. Hailtothevictors made a solid bid late along the inside for second after making his run at the rear from gate 11. It was clearly his best run to date following throat surgery, a downgrade and the switch to the all-weather track. Phantom Cyclone ran on well for third after getting left four wide and without cover travelling midfield 600m out. He enjoyed a return to the surface and trip of his only previous placing. Beauty Missile stayed on for fourth without threatening the top three after getting the ideal run fourth along the inside. It was an okay effort in a rare appearance on dirt. Atomic Beauty plugged on one paced after pushing forward to sit wide and without cover near the front 750m out. He had an excuse. Go Go Go made some ground without threatening after a rails run from behind midfield.
