Recap by phillip woo

Favourite Longwah Amber travelled fourth along the rails, pushed out three deep coming to the final bend, rushed to the front 200m out and kept on nicely for a second win from seven starts. Rugby Ambassador travelled midfield along the rails, angled five deep at the 250m and finished well to give the Quinella some spice 50m out in an improved run with a switch to the Valley. He's crying out for a longer trip. Silver Dragon settled midfield and one off the rails, swung the final bend with three wider out and stayed on well to be a clear third. Baltic Warrior rallied well four deep from behind midfield to add value to the First-4. Happy Rocky travelled at the tail of the field after a slow break, pulled out sharply with one wider at the 150m and was hitting the line with purpose. Firming late, Yat Ding Win took the sit box-seat after sharing the lead until the 700m but was held up behind the tiring Flashing Guy from the 250m until the final 60m in a forgivable performance. Flashing Guy was struggling 200m out after coming to the final bend nearly two lengths on top. Jets Delight was handy with cover following a sluggish break, forced very wide coming to the final bend and was yielding ground over the final 200m in his first experience at the Valley.
