Racing Incident Report
Race Six: (118)-HIGH ISLAND HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1650Metres
SUPER SPRINTER was crowded for room on jumping between EXPECTATOR which shifted in and HOLY UNICORN which shifted out marginally and then was taken out further by UNLEASHED DRAGON.From wide barriers, RISING POWER, EXCELLENCE and HAPPY AND HEALTHY were all shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
UNLEASHED DRAGON lost its left hind plate after the 1300 Metres.
Passing the 1100 Metres, GO GO WIN was left racing wide and was then allowed to stride forward.
GO GO WIN then travelled wide and without cover until after the 800 Metres at which time the horse was able to shift in to race outside the lead.
CHEERFUL FRAME was then left racing wide and without cover from this point.
For some distance approaching and passing the 1100 Metres, RISING POWER got its head up when proving very difficult to settle and awkwardly placed close to the heels of HOLY UNICORN.
For some distance after the 800 Metres, HAPPY AND HEALTHY raced in restricted room when improving into tight running between EXPECTATOR and RISING POWER which shifted out.
Making the turn after the 600 Metres, EXPECTATOR was crowded for room inside HAPPY AND HEALTHY which remained racing tight inside RISING POWER.
Near the 550 Metres, SUPER SPRINTER was checked away from the heels of UNLEASHED DRAGON which came under pressure and commenced to lose ground.
SUPER SPRINTER was then awkwardly placed behind UNLEASHED DRAGON until the entrance to the Straight.
Approaching the 150 Metres, HOLY UNICORN was shifted out away from the heels of UNLEASHED DRAGON which shifted ground when weakening.
Close to the finishing line, GO GO WIN and PENNY LANE raced tight as GO GO WIN shifted in under pressure.
A veterinary inspection of UNLEASHED DRAGON immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
SUPER SPRINTER, PENNY LANE and GO GO WIN were sent for sampling.

Penny Lane was pestered for the lead by Go Go Win 750m out after clearing to lead 1,400m out and fought that one off in a thrilling stretch drive to prevail by a lip. On his past form, he'll likely find it harder following a likely five-point penalty. Go Go Win had to do it very tough without cover the entire trip from a wide gate. He'll be winning shortly if he remains in the grade and draws a gate. Favourite Super Sprinter was dragged further back than he wanted by the tiring Unleashed Dragon but made up heaps of ground in the straight drive to secure a placing. It was a good run in defeat. Born To Race and Rewarding Flyer were disappointing after enjoying good runs. The latter might be on his mark. Of the rest, Happy And Healthy made up a tonne of ground after travelling at the back from a wide gate and might not be far off a winning run.
