My Blessing rolled to the lead 800m out after punching the breeze outside Gentlemen early on and kept on gamely for an easy win with money for him late. The 10-pound claim of Dylan Mo Hin-tung was the key to victory following a last-start failure without excuses under Zac Purton. He could remain competitive at the bottom of the weights in Class Four. Eastern Prowess kept on nicely for second despite being caught three deep without cover near the speed from a wide gate until getting one off in third at the 800m. On the back of his recent Valley form, he'll be winning shortly. Malayan Pearl defied a deep run in midfield to get the bob down late for third. He has produced some revitalised form in his past two starts and looks a winner waiting to happen if he can draw a gate. Favourite Golden Partners made some ground late near the inside to just miss a placing after travelling fourth from the rear following a sluggish break. The big weights appear to be catching up with him. Wealthy Fortune finished well down the outside to make it close for a placing after a patient ride third from the rear from a wide gate. He's come down plenty in the ratings this term and a bottom may be near but do prefer him on a wet track. Best Jade Triumph was a disappointment despite enjoying a lovely run.

Race Two: (618)-HERON HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1800Metres

HAPPY FRIENDSHIP, GOLDEN PARTNERS and SWEET BEAN began only fairly.

DIAMOND FRIENDS began awkwardly and shortly after the start was crowded for room inside LUCKY SEBRING.

Despite being vigorously ridden along in the early stages, both LUCKY SEBRING and WEALTHY FORTUNE failed to muster speed.

EASTERN PROWESS travelled wide and without cover until near the 600 Metres.

Making the turn near the 600 Metres, BEST JADE TRIUMPH was awkwardly placed close to the heels of EASTERN PROWESS.

Over the concluding stages, DRAGON GLORY raced tight outside GENTLEMEN.

GOLDEN PARTNERS, MY BLESSING and EASTERN PROWESS were sent for sampling.
