Recap by phillip woo

Veteran Startling Power led and never looked back to make it two on the trot. On the back of a past win off a mark of 65 he might have the tools to pick up another. Post-time favourite Grade One finished well from behind midfield after being momentarily held up at the top of the straight to grab second 50m out. He's racing in good spirits on both surfaces. Sunshine Universe stayed on well following a deep run without cover near the speed to finish a clear-cut third with a step back to sprinting. Hopefully this is a sign of better things to come. Elite Spirit closed off reasonably well down the outside after travelling one-off behind midfield. He's run well without threatening the winner in four straight all-weather track sprints. Born Dragon plodded following a prominent run on the fence. He's on his mark. Pakistan Baby didn't let down after a deep run with cover in midfield from a wide gate. He's in the right class but isn't easy to get right.

Racing Incident Report

Race Three: (460) - SHING YIP HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters

KING'S FAIRY was slow to begin.

BORN DRAGON shifted out at the start and bumped LITTLE FANTASY which was in turn taken out onto the hindquarters of BEEKELY which became badly unbalanced.

ELITE SPIRIT and PAKISTAN BABY bumped on jumping.

ELITE SPIRIT then shifted in, resulting in FLYING FORCE being hampered and losing ground.

NOBLE DE BOY stumbled at the start.

Passing the 900 Metres, ELITE SPIRIT was awkwardly placed close to the heels of PAKISTAN BABY which was being steadied to obtain cover behind SUNSHINE UNIVERSE which throughout the race travelled wide and without cover.

Making the first turn near the 700 Metres, BORN DRAGON and LUCKY MASTER raced tight.

FLYING FORCE made the turn near the 700 Metres awkwardly and then near the 600 Metres got its head up when being checked away from the heels of ELITE SPIRIT.

FLYING FORCE then shifted out passing the 600 Metres, resulting in NOBLE DE BOY being inconvenienced.

Passing the 300 Metres, GRADE ONE and SUNSHINE UNIVERSE raced tight as GRADE ONE improved into tight running between SUNSHINE UNIVERSE and BEEKELY.

After the race, the Veterinary Surgeon reported that BORN DRAGON was lame in its right front leg.

Before being allowed to race again, BORN DRAGON will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

A veterinary inspection of PAKISTAN BABY and BEEKELY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

A veterinary inspection of NOBLE DE BOY immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer??which had previously been reported.

STARTLING POWER and GRADE ONE were sent for sampling.
