Recap by phillip woo

Plunged late Encore Boy took control 100m out following a box-seat run after making full use of a good draw for an overdue win. He's got more points in hand sprinting over this course. Master Albert finished very well after travelling behind midfield near the fence to grab second. He has the ability to win a race. Charity Glory grudgingly gave way after dictating the run. He doesn't know how to run a bad race sprinting over this course. Favourite Shanghai Master was on his tippy toes 100m out chasing the leader. The sharp rise in weight for a last-start win was too much to overcome. Jumbo Happiness made some ground without menacing from behind midfield. He's on his mark. Gameplayer Emperor produced a one-paced run in midfield. He hasn't disgrace in his three starts but will need more time to find his feet. Jade Theatre couldn't turn it up another gear following a handy run. He appears to have peaked on his rating.

Racing Incident Report

Race Seven: (583) - KING'S PARK HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters

After being loaded into the barriers, GENERAL IRON became fractious and made heavy contact with the front gates after lunging forward.

GENERAL IRON was removed from the barriers and examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was not suitable to race.

Acting on this advice, GENERAL IRON was withdrawn by order of the Stewards.

Having regard to GENERAL IRON's previous history in respect of its barrier manners, the Stewards ruled that that horse must barrier trial satisfactorily and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

FLYING LOVER and HAPPY GUY bumped at the start due to both horses shifting ground.

HAPPY GUY then became unbalanced and shifted out, resulting in BIZ POWER, which was being steadied to obtain cover, being hampered.

From the outside barrier, POWERMAX was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

MASTER ALBERT was steadied in the early stages to obtain cover.

Making the turn after the 600 Metres, GAMEPLAYER EMPEROR became unbalanced after shifting in and brushing the running rail.

Near the 250 Metres, FLYING LOVER, which was giving ground, was momentarily steadied away from the heels of JUMBO HAPPINESS (O Doleuze) which shifted in.

O Doleuze was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.

Passing the 200 Metres, ENCORE BOY raced tight inside CHARITY GLORY (N Rawiller) which got its head on the side and shifted in under pressure.

In this incident, N Rawiller momentarily stopped riding and straightened his mount to prevent causing interference to ENCORE BOY.

Throughout the race, FLYING LOVER travelled wide and without cover.
