Racing Incident Report
Race One: (687) - SILVERMINE BAY HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1200Meters
M REBORN began only fairly and then was crowded for room between CORRE RAPIDO and TRENDIFUL, both of which shifted ground.
SPARKLING TALENT began awkwardly and then despite being hard ridden in the early stages failed to muster speed and subsequently was detached from the field in the early and middle stages.
At the 800 Metres, REGENCY HONEY (U Rispoli) shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of M REBORN, resulting in REGENCY HONEY becoming badly unbalanced.
U Rispoli reported that REGENCY HONEY, despite being ridden along in the early stages, failed to stretch out as the horse got its head up when resenting the kickback.
Near the 650 Metres, MASSIVE MILLENNIUM was awkwardly placed behind ROCHFORD.
Passing the winning post, N Callan (CORRE RAPIDO) dropped his whip.
Throughout the race, ROCHFORD travelled wide and without cover.
After the race, D Whyte reported that M REBORN was making an abnormal respiratory noise during the race.
A veterinary inspection of M REBORN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

HAPPY SOUND, MASSIVE MILLENNIUM and SKY TREASURE were sent for sampling.

Massive Millennium defied a deep run beyond midfield from the widest gate to mow down Sky Treasure 20m out to score at huge odds. Good training feat by Benno Yung Tinpang who's only had him a short time Sky Treasure just failed to hold on after claiming the lead from Fortune Brothers soon after straightening. He's always a chance in this grade. Corre Rapido finished well from midfield to just miss the Quinella spot. He's run very well in back-to-back runs following a switch to the dirt. Rochford came up just short of placing after being scrubbed along 500m out following a deep run with no cover in midfield from a wide gate. Favourite Happy Sound was caught deep early on before settling one-out, one-back and only plodded in the stretch drive. He couldn't cope with the rise in weight following a last-start win. Trendiful had his chance following a prominent run on the fence. The return to blinkers appeared to work against him.
