Recap by phillip woo

Big Time Baby came on strongly to win going away 60m out travelling ahead of midfield on the fence. He's in terrific form on this surface. Favourite Winner Supreme just held on for second after running out of steam leading on his lonesome in front. He has good form over this dirt trip but a switch to the shorter straight sprinting at Valley might be worth considering as well. Regency Bo Bo dashed well down the outside after travelling third from the rear to nearly snatch second. Star Shine made up a good deal of ground down the outside after making his run deep near the back. It was a good effort in his first run back following a stress fracture in May. Fortune Booth ran on without menacing from beyond midfield. Like the latter, it was an encouraging return to the race following fetlock arthroscopy in July. Seven Heavens kept on evenly after ducking underneath the tiring Saul's Special near the 200m following a one-off run worse than midfield.

Racing Incident Report

Race Eight: (215) - MODY HANDICAP - Class 2 - 1200Meters

SUPER TURBO was slow to begin.

SEVEN HEAVENS began very awkwardly and then was crowded for room between FORTUNE BOOTH and BIG TIME BABY which shifted out.

In this incident, FORTUNE BOOTH was bumped by SEVEN HEAVENS.

STAR SHINE was bumped by WINNER SUPREME on jumping.

SAUL'S SPECIAL and TELECOM PUMA made contact at the start.

Despite being ridden along for some distance in the early stages, REGENCY BO BO failed to muster speed.

After obtaining cover behind BIG TIME BABY near the 1000 Metres, SEVEN HEAVENS got its head up near the 850 Metres when awkwardly placed behind that horse.

Passing the 700 Metres, SAUL'S SPECIAL was momentarily crowded for room inside TELECOM PUMA which was then directed out to relieve the tightening to SAUL'S SPECIAL.

This resulted in TELECOM PUMA travelling wide and without cover throughout the race.

Near the 500 Metres, WALDORF was crowded for room inside SEVEN HEAVENS which shifted in away from the heels of BIG TIME BABY (M Chadwick) which, after shifting out making the turn near the 600 Metres, then shifted back in.

M Chadwick was reprimanded and advised that he has an obligation to ensure that if he changes his running line, he must be aware of the positioning of other horses prior to resuming that running line.

Approaching the 200 Metres, SEVEN HEAVENS was shifted in away from SAUL'S SPECIAL to continue improving.

Approaching the 100 Metres, K Teetan (WINNER SUPREME) dropped his whip.

A veterinary inspection of SEVEN HEAVENS immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

BIG TIME BABY and WINNER SUPREME were sent for sampling.
