Relentless Me defied a four-deep run behind midfield from a wide gate to get up 100m out for a third win this season. He relished a return to Sha Tin with the light weight under claimer Alfred Chan Ka-hei working the oracle. War Room came on nicely from towards the rear to fill the Quinella spot. He's always promised and it was a solid first effort for the David Hall yard. Post-time favourite War Of Courage grudgingly gave way after finding the lead 1,000m out from a wide gate. It was a solid effort trying the 1,200m for the first time carrying more weight following a last-start win. Biz Power finished well down the outside after settling last until the 300m from the widest draw to add further value to the Quartet. Eligere ran on well travelling one off behind midfield. It was another positive effort after waking up with a closing second earlier this month. Stanley Park kept on much better after stalking the speed to just miss a pay slip. It was clearly his best run.

Racing Incident Report

Race Two: (603) - FAIRY KING PRAWN HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters

A Hamelin (DRAGON HAS LANDED) was spoken to regarding arriving in the Parade Ring late.

BRIGHT VISION and ELIGERE bumped at the start, resulting in ELIGERE becoming unbalanced and losing ground.

AWE began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of WAR ROOM.

PERFECT TO GREAT began only fairly.

After this, PERFECT TO GREAT was shifted across behind runners from a wide barrier.

From the outside barrier, BIZ POWER was also steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners to obtain cover.

Passing the 1100 Metres, BRIGHT VISION was steadied away from the heels of DRAGON HAS LANDED.

After the 800 Metres, BRIGHT VISION was left racing wide and without cover.

Also after the 800 Metres, ELIGERE was awkwardly placed close to the heels of CALIFORNIA TURBO.

AWE, which was following, was awkwardly placed behind ELIGERE in consequence.

For some distance after the 800 Metres, TOM'S STYLE proved very difficult to settle and was checked away from the heels of KA YING LEGEND.

Approaching the 700 Metres, WAR ROOM travelled keenly and was steadied away from the heels of RELENTLESS ME.

BRIGHT VISION lay out after the 600 Metres and then made the Home Turn awkwardly.

CALIFORNIA TURBO had difficulty obtaining clear running approaching and passing the 300 Metres.

After the 300 Metres, SUPER QILIN raced tight inside AWE which lay in.

After this, AWE continued to lay in under pressure.

A veterinary inspection of KA YING LEGEND immediately following the race did not show any significant findings, however, the horse was unable to be scoped due to being fractious.
