Racing Incident Report
Race Two: (445) - TSUI MAN HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1650Meters
A LA KING began only fairly and then was inconvenienced by LOOKING COOL which was taken in by GIFT OF LIFELINE.
DR WINNING became unbalanced when crowded for room on jumping between FAST PACE and DECRYPT which shifted in.
Then from the outside barriers, DR WINNING and DECRYPT were steadied to obtain cover.
Approaching the 1300 Metres, A LA KING became unbalanced after shifting out of its own accord towards the heels of MEANINGFUL STAR.
Passing the 1150 Metres, DR WINNING was awkwardly placed outside the heels of GIFT OF LIFELINE which shifted out.
Passing the 300 Metres, LOOKING COOL got its head on the side and was reluctant to shift to the outside of TRANSCENDENT.
Passing the 100 Metres, LOOKING COOL improved into tight running between TRANSCENDENT and A LA KING.
After the race, K Teetan stated that, in his opinion, DR WINNING was not able to finish the race off strongly tonight after having to race towards the rear of the field in a slowly run race.
A veterinary inspection of DR WINNING immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

MEANINGFUL STAR and GIFT OF LIFELINE were sent for sampling.

Favourite Meaningful Star just got up by a lip to deny Gift Of Lifeline travelling effectively one-out, one-back to ring up a second win to go along with four seconds this season. He'll remain in the grade and can win again. Gift Of Lifeline went forward mid-race to chase the leader Fast Pace 700m out and then went to the front near the 100m before he was just nicked on the wire. He showed his true colours with a riding change to a Alexis Badel. The well-backed Gameplayer Times stayed on a distant third after travelling in the box-seat. He's a better prospect in Class Four. Fast Pace gradually faded to finish fourth after dictating the run from an outside draw. It was another honest effort. Looking Cool just got up from behind midfield for a minor cheque. It was a better effort second-up with a switch to the Valley. A La King ran on without menacing after getting all the favours in midfield on the fence. Once again he was not good enough with a return to Class Four. Dr Winning only got by a few from the rear of the field. He needs a stronger pace and was stepping up in class following a win. Transcendent didn't get the trip after a pace-stalking run. He just not going well at the moment.
