Racing Incident Report
Race Eight: (642) - TUEN MUN HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters
BAND OF BROTHERS and FLYING DRAGON began only fairly.
From wide barriers, CAPTAIN WIN and RESOLUTE were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
After travelling a short distance, SUNNY BOY shifted in towards the hindquarters of LIGHTNING BOLT.
Then passing the 1000 Metres, SUNNY BOY raced tight outside HONG KONG WIN.
Making the turn after the 700 Metres, FLYING DRAGON was awkwardly placed inside the heels of PRIVATE ROCKET which shifted in.
After this, FLYING DRAGON got its head on the side and lay out and near the 600 Metres inconvenienced LIGHTNING BOLT.
After initially shifting to the outside of HARMONY N BLESSED in an attempt to improve between that horse and PRIVATE ROCKET near the 250 Metres, HONG KONG WIN was shifted to the inside of HARMONY N BLESSED which resulted in HONG KONG WIN being awkwardly placed inside the heels of that horse which was commencing to give ground.
MERCURIAL, which was racing to the inside of HONG KONG WIN, also raced in restricted room inside that horse.
After this, MERCURIAL was eased after the 200 Metres when continuing to race tight inside HONG KONG WIN.
For the majority of the race, LIKE THAT travelled wide and without cover.
KA YING MASTER and LIGHTNING BOLT were sent for sampling.

Ka Ying Master kept up a strong gallop for the win after easily assuming the lead from Harmony N Blessed at the head of the straight after pressing the pace along the fence. He relished a return to Class Three and the dirt. Favourite Lightning Bolt got up 100m out for second after getting posted four wide without cover in midfield. It was another honest performance. Punted late, Like That stayed on well chasing the speed wide without cover from gate 12. He continues his fine form of late on both surfaces. Captain Win got going late to fill the frame after travelling deep towards the rear. He produced another genuine effort despite a switch to the dirt. Private Rocket came up one-paced after a prominent run. He's a consistent sort on both surfaces. Hong Kong Win made some ground near the inside without menacing after a rails run behind midfield. It wasn't a bad effort down in grade trying the dirt. Flying Dragon just plodded after getting forced three deep approaching the final bend travelling midfield. It was a below-par performance. Specked late, Harmony N Blessed weakened 150m out after rolling forward from a wide gate to just shade the winner for the lead. He had an excuse.
