Racing Incident Report
Race One: (682) - PAKISTAN STAR PLATE - Class GRIFFIN - 1200Meters
JOYFUL CHAMPION was withdrawn on 21.5.22 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore).
Before being allowed to race again, JOYFUL CHAMPION will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
FLYING SILVER began awkwardly, shifted in and bumped SUPERB MOVE.
Then a short distance after the start, FLYING SILVER again shifted in after being brushed by LUCKY BANNER and brushed SUPERB MOVE.
YOUNG SPARKLE was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners to obtain cover.
CIRCUIT NINE lay out rounding the Home Turn.
Near the 350 Metres, OUR PRECIOUS was awkwardly placed outside the heels of LUCKY BANNER which shifted out marginally.
Approaching the 50 Metres, the whip of R Maia (SUPERB MOVE) was knocked from his grasp by the whip of L Ferraris (OUR PRECIOUS).
Close to the finishing line, OUR PRECIOUS shifted out and inconvenienced SUPERB MOVE.
CIRCUIT NINE and LUCKY BANNER were sent for sampling.

Raging favourite Circuit Nine took nearly the whole straight to finally gather in longtime leader Lucky Banner after making his run from third last in a field of six to remain unbeaten in two starts. It was a good performance carrying 133 pounds and the future looks bright. Lucky Banner gave a cheeky sight after getting his own way in front. It was a much-improved effort stepping up to 1,200m for his second start. Young Sparkle came from last to fill a placing. He's given a decent sight in both outings. Our Precious kept on one-paced over the final 200m after chasing the leader on the fence. He went all right on debut but clearly needs more time. Superb Move weakened over the final 200m after settling third on the fence. He too requires more time and experience. Flying Silver was pretty ordinary yet again after making his run one from the rear. His future does not look promising at the moment.
