Royal Agility ran on well down closest the stands side to take control 150m out after a wide with cover run better than midfield for a second win and first in Class Four from his past three starts. He's racing well of late and seemed to enjoy the wet ground. Smart Folks kept on gamely for second prompting the pace three wide without cover. He can produce an odd positive run now and then. Favourite Beauty Tycoon found a couple too good after a prominent run along the fence. The testing conditions carrying top weight took its toll. Trust Me grudgingly gave way over the last 100m after assuming the lead rounding the final bend pressing the pace between runners. He's always a chance over this Sha Tin trip. Spicy Skewer came from last to get the bob down for a pay cheque without threatening the top four. It was his best run from five starts. One For All produced a grinding effort travelling midfield on the fence. He's still a work in progress. Son Pak Fu kept on evenly after a wide with cover run behind midfield. It wasn't a bad effort on debut but he'll need more time and education. Amazing Innovator weakened after a handy run one off the fence. He couldn't build on a closing fifth on debut over the minimum trip.

Racing Incident Report

Race Eight: (795) - RIDING HIGH TOGETHER 1200M HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters

BRAVE STAR began awkwardly.

SPARTAN MISSILE began only fairly.

ONE FOR ALL lifted its front feet off the ground as the start was effected and then was bumped on jumping by BEAUTY TYCOON which shifted in.

SPICY SKEWER and DIVINE ERA bumped at the start.

Then a short distance after the start, SPICY SKEWER was awkwardly placed inside the heels of DIVINE ERA which shifted in.

In the Straight, SON PAK FU lay in under pressure and for some distance after the 300 Metres raced tight outside AMAZING INNOVATOR which also shifted out under pressure.

Then over the concluding stages, SON PAK FU proved difficult to ride when continuing to lay in.

Throughout the race, SMART FOLKS travelled wide and without cover.

After the race, L Ferraris said that SPARTAN MISSILE's failure to finish the race off today was attributable to the horse not handling the track conditions.

A veterinary inspection of SPARTAN MISSILE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

A veterinary inspection of AMAZING INNOVATOR immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer?? BEAUTY TYCOON, ROYAL AGILITY and SMART FOLKS were sent for sampling.
