Favourite Mighty Stride drew clear after cruising to the lead 350m out despite a prominent run wide without cover the entire trip to remain perfect in two starts. He clearly has an engine underneath him and remains one to follow up in grade off a light weight. Old-timer Regency Bo Bo just got up in the last stride to dead-heat for second with Marvel Dragon after a one-off trip better than midfield. He is racing well without winning. Punted late, Marvel Dragon stayed on nicely for a share of second despite a wide trip with cover in midfield. He has shown good progress in his three starts this term and can bob up at any moment. Newcomer Nicetobemet peaked on his run 100m out after looming a place chance mid-straight after making his run five back and one off the fence. He needed the outing. Snowalot made good ground late down the outside ridden near last from another wide draw. The Hulk made heaps of ground late without threatening ridden cold from gate 14. He should get away with a race shortly at this level.

Racing Incident Report

Race Two: (234) - FALVELON HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters

Whilst in the saddling stalls, THE HULK required farrier attention to the right hind plate.

THE HULK was examined by the Veterinary Officer and found to be suitable to race.

TOGEPI shifted out at the start and bumped HOSS.

WIND SPEEDER began only fairly and then lost ground when crowded for rom between MIGHTY STRIDE and REGENCY BO BO, both of which shifted ground.

POLYMER GLORIOUS got its head up on jumping and began awkwardly and shortly after the start shifted in and bumped NICETOBEMET.

From the outside barriers, SNOWALOT, RIGHT HONOURABLE and THE HULK were all steadied in the early stages to obtain cover.

GLENEALY GENERALS was also steadied in the early stages to obtain cover.

POLYMER GLORIOUS lost its right front plate in the early stages.

Approaching the 1000 Metres, MARVEL DRAGON was awkwardly placed outside the heels of TURBO POWER when being steadied to obtain cover.

Throughout the race, MIGHTY STRIDE travelled wide and without cover and approaching the 600 Metres was taken wider again by TURBO POWER which improved to the outside of HOSS.

Passing the 400 Metres, MIGHTY STRIDE shifted in and inconvenienced TURBO POWER.

After the race, it was reported that REGENCY BO BO had sustained a minor abrasion to the left stifle.

MIGHTY STRIDE, REGENCY BO BO and MARVEL DRAGON were sent for sampling.
