Racing Incident Report
Race Nine: (251) - TERN HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters
On arrival at the Start, it was noted that DECRYPT had lost its left front plate which required the plate to be refitted.
GUMMY GUMMY and BEAUTY TYCOON bumped on jumping.
COBHFIELD began very awkwardly, resulting in its rider, C L Chau, becoming unbalanced and COBHFIELD losing ground.
SMART IDEA and DRAGON ADMIRAL bumped at the start.
After this, both SMART IDEA and DRAGON ADMIRAL were steadied to obtain cover.
When being steadied from the outside barrier to obtain cover, CRYSTAL POWERFUL bumped IGNITING, resulting in both horses becoming unbalanced.
Making the turn after the 1000 Metres, SMART IDEA got its head up when travelling keenly and awkwardly placed behind IGNITING.
At the 200 Metres, the whip of L Hewitson (NABOO LEGEND) was knocked from his grasp by the whip of Apprentice Y L Chung (CALIFORNIA CIBLE).
After the race, M F Poon (IGNITING) reported that his mount was making an abnormal breathing noise during the race.
A veterinary inspection of IGNITING immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

BEAUTY TYCOON and OUR LUCKY GLORY were sent for sampling.

Favourite Beauty Tycoon took control 150m out after his dream run from gate two to ring up his third win from his past four starts since moving to pacifiers and a hood. He is racing well and can win again. Our Lucky Glory just outdashed Jumbo Legend for second place from behind midfield. He has produced mixed results with placings in two of his four starts this term. Jumbo Legend ran on steadily to just miss second after his oneoff- the-fence trip in midfield. It was another honest performance over the Valley 1,200m. Sensationally backed, California Cible stayed on reasonably well for fourth after his pace-stalking run from his outside gate. It was a pleasing effort first up after 371 days off the track due to injury. Cobhfield ran on nicely near the inside to finish next best after making his run third last following his slow start. He has raced with merit in both of his Valley starts from four appearances this term. Gummy Gummy stayed on all right from midfield on the fence. His was a positive Hong Kong debut. Specked late, Smart Idea ran on without menacing near the outside from towards the rear. He requires rating relief.
