Horse No 2 DURHAM STAR (E082) M Barzalona A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 3 SNOWALOT (E397) K Teetan After the race, K Teetan reported that he was instructed to hold a midfield position, but when caught wide in the early stages to the outside of DURHAM STAR was obliged to come back further to obtain a position closer to the rail.
Horse No 4 M UNICORN (G466) R Moore Bumped shortly after the start.

Horse No 5 RED HARE KING (H188) L Hewitson Hung out on the Home Turn.
Approaching the 100 Metres was bumped by M UNICORN which shifted in.

Horse No 12 TO INFINITY (G277) R King Jumped awkwardly.
Approaching the 100 Metres was checked when disappointed for a doubtful run between WIDE BLUE YONDER and TATTENHAM which shifted out slightly.
In this incident, TO INFINITY struck the heels of TATTENHAM and blundered.

Favourite M Unicorn travelled in midfield, got off the fence after rounding the final bend and took control near the 100m marker to make it three wins from his past four starts over Happy Valley's 1,650m. Red Hare King found one too smart after enjoying a handy run on the rail and hitting the lead 150m out. He is close to a win with placings in two of his past three races. Punted late, Sure Joyful just missed second after his midfield trip one off the fence. He is in good form. Superb Move ran on nicely from behind midfield to just take fourth ahead of Beauty Mission. He has given a good shout in his past two of three runs following his Class Five victory in September. Beauty Mission made good ground late near the inside after Bauyrzhan Murzabayev rode him for luck from the outside gate. He has run with merit from wide barriers in his past two starts. Snowalot came from last at the top of the straight to finish the next best. He gave them too much of a head start. Wide Blue Yonder began retreating 100m out after tracking the leader, Tattenham, one off the fence from gate 11.
