Recap by phillip woo

After a patient ride in third last, Bon's A Pearla roared down the middle of the track to get up in the closing stages for a first local win at her 12th start. She lived up to two eye-catching runs since switching to the Valley's 1,200m. Favourite Beauty Waves just got the better of long-time leader Super Capitalist for second after a speed-chasing run. He handled the change in tracks without a problem after placing in two of three prior runs at Sha Tin. Well-backed Superb Capitalist skipped away by three rounding the final bend but found a couple too good in the late stages. It was a return to form after disappointing efforts in his first two starts this term. Righteous Arion ran on well for fourth after a rails run in midfield. He's run with merit once at each track in this grade following a Class Four win. After getting posted wide, Tomodachi Kokoroe slotted in one off the fence fence better than midfield and gradually faded. He had an excuse. Act Of Faith settled one off the rail behind midfield and ran on without threatening. Excellent Fighter was a non-factor after getting left wide without cover in midfield.
