Horse No 1 JOYFUL PROSPERITY (H213) L Ferraris Jumped only fairly.
Near the 350 Metres was shifted to the outside of VOLCANIC SPARK to obtain clear running.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 3 SERANGOON (H296) H Bentley Jumped only fairly.
Lay in in the Home Straight.
Near the 100 Metres shifted in slightly and brushed GLUCK RACER.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 4 GOLD MASTER (J389) A Atzeni Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 5 BEAUTY LIVE (G057) Y L Chung Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 6 BRIGHT INHERITANCE (J215) M F Poon From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 10 QUICK QUICK WIN (K102) C L Chau Trainer P C Ng confirmed the instructions from a wide barrier were to take up a forward position preferably with cover.
Horse No 11 YOUTH POWER (H358) P N Wong In the Home Straight lay in and proved difficult to ride out.

Horse No 13 GLUCK RACER (E157) B Thompson Brushed at the 100 Metres when racing tight to the inside of SERANGOON.
Horse No 14 KASA PAPA (G312) A Badel Passing the 1500 Metres got its head up when being crossed by QUICK QUICK WIN.

Following a rails run in midfield, favourite Gold Master just got the better of Kasa Papa in the concluding stages after switching off heels for a clear run near the 100m for a second win from his past three starts. Kasa Papa did everything but get the win after moving to the lead 200m out following a one-off trip from better than midfield. He's produced two progressive runs in Class Four. Ace War ran on steadily for third after a one-off trip from midfield. It was his best effort from seven starts in his first run over 1,800m. Good Good knocked up late for fourth after claiming the lead 300m out following a speedtracking role from gate 13. It was another honest effort. Brave Witness kept on OK after a prominent run on the fence. It was one of his better efforts. Bright Inheritance was doing his best work late for sixth after being restrained to travel last early on from gate 14 before improving mid-race to sit five back on the fence. Volcanic Spark ran on without threatening after fading to travel five back and three wide with cover.
