Racing Incident Report
Race Six : (635) - YEONGCHEON HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 GIDDY UP (J020) B Avdulla Bumped after the 150 Metres with MY INTELLIGENT due to both runners shifting ground.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 PERFECT GENERAL (J417) E C W Wong In the early stages raced keenly.
After the event Apprentice E C W Wong stated that he was instructed if his mount commenced well to go forward but was also given the option to take up a midfield position if it did not commence well.
He said when PERFECT GENERAL jumped only fairly he elected to ride his mount in a conservative manner in the early stages to obtain a midfield position with cover.
Horse No 3 FORTUNE WARRIOR (H229) K Teetan Shortly after the start got its head up and then blundered when being steadied to obtain a position with cover.
Horse No 5 ENDUED (K033) H Bowman From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 6 NEVER TOO SOON (E434) M F Poon Jumped only fairly.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 7 CRYSTAL POWERFUL (H068) A Atzeni After the event A Atzeni stated that his mount came under pressure from the 800 Metres and did not run on in the Home Straight thereafter.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 8 CHAMPION METHOD (H366) M Chadwick On jumping blundered and became unbalanced.
From a wide barrier was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 9 COUNTRY DANCER (H436) A Hamelin Jumped only fairly.
Horse No 10 LOVING VIBES (J359) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 12 MY INTELLIGENT (G031) M L Yeung Leaving the 150 Metres brushed with GIDDY UP due to both runners shifting ground.
As a result M L Yeung stopped riding and changed his whip through to his right hand.

Loving Vibes chased the leader Vigor Elleegant before striking the lead 200m out and keeping on gamely for a first win at his 12th start. He was able to build on a fifth last start with the cheek pieces coming off. Never Too Soon ran on well for second along the inside after making his run four back on the fence. He showed his true colours after a pair of luckless runs. Country Dancer was eating up the ground late to snatch third after making his run three from the rear. He continues to hold his condition very well this term. My Intelligent just lost a placing after punching the breeze travelling third. He can break through at any moment after finishing in the mix in all three sprints this term. Punted late Perfect General was doing his best work late for fifth after biding his time four from the rear. It was another honest performance. Giddy Up came up one-paced after a prominent run on the fence. He couldn't build on a near win last start following a downgrade. Vigor Elleegant was on his tippy toes 100m out after spearing straight to the lead from gate five. He'll appreciate the company shortly in Class Five.
