Horse No 1 CALL ME GORGEOUS (K091) J Orman Shortly after the start was steadied when crowded by KING OBERON which shifted in.
Near the 850 Metres shifted in and away from GOLDEN LUCK.
Horse No 2 YIU CHEUNG VICTORY (J529) Y L Chung Near the 650 Metres was hampered when taken wider by BULL ATTITUDE which shifted out.
Horse No 3 DASHING DRAGON (J464) E C W Wong Jumped only fairly.
From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 4 BETTER AND BETTER (K277) Z Purton Jumped only fairly.
Over the concluding stages made contact with BULL ATTITUDE due to both runners shifting ground.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 5 BULL ATTITUDE (K305) L Hewitson Shifted in on jumping and was bumped.
From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Near the 650 Metres was steadied away from CONCORDE STAR.
Over the concluding stages made contact with BETTER AND BETTER due to both runners shifting ground.
Horse No 6 GOLDEN LUCK (H159) C L Chau Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Horse No 8 PERFECTDAY (K238) K De Melo Shortly after the start became unbalanced when crowded between YIU CHEUNG VICTORY which shifted out and BULL ATTITUDE which shifted in and made contact with PERFECTDAY.
From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 9 TEAM TEAM FOLKS (K302) B Thompson Jumped only fairly and then was crowded by CALL ME GORGEOUS.
Under pressure in the Home Straight lay in.
Horse No 10 TRULY FLUKE (K270) H Bowman Approaching the 1100 Metres was steadied when crowded by CLUB ACE (B Avdulla) which shifted in.
B Avdulla was advised to exercise more care.
Momentarily crowded near the 850 Metres.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 11 KA YING WARRIOR (H028) M F Poon Jumped awkwardly, got its head up and became unbalanced.
Horse No 12 CLUB ACE (J523) B Avdulla Jumped awkwardly.
Between the 400 Metres and the 250 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the outside of LUCKY SYMPHONY.
Horse No 14 KING OBERON (H407) A Badel Made contact with a running rail on entering the track, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race.
Near the 250 Metres was taken out by CLUB ACE.

Early favourite Lucky Symphony tracked the speed from gate 14 before moving to the lead 180m out and proiving too good for a maiden win at his eighth start. He deserved that after seconds in two prior starts. Punted late Truly Fluke just got up for second near the inside after a rails run from midfield. It was a much better effort at his second start. Club Ace was nicked late for second after getting all favours in the box seat. It was a return to form after failing to figure in back-to-back Valley runs. Call Me Gorgeous ran on a non-threatening fourth after a one-off trip from midfield. It was an OK effort carrying top weight down in Class Four for the first time. Ka Ying Warrior was headed late for fourth after dictating the pace from gate nine. It was an OK effort carrying seven pounds more following a win. King Oberon came up one-paced after a one-out, one-back run. He will be looking forward to a drop into Class Five.
