Recap by phillip woo

Backed late to jump favourite, Seasons Wit settled midfield on the rails and quickened nicely to win going away 60m out for a first win from 12 starts this term. He was a well-rated runner and did put the writing on the wall when second last start. Eternal Fortune found one too good after a prominent run. It was a return to form with the claim well utilised. Stellar Express just claimed long-time leader and early favourite Parents' Love for third after a box-seat run. He's given a good sight to place in both Valley 1,000m runs. Parents' Love succumbed late after spearing straight to the lead from a wide draw. It was another honest performance this season. Healthy Healthy had no clear run at them near the inside over the last 100m after making his run at the rear from a wide draw. He should have finished closer. Flying Ting Lok made some ground from near last but did only beat one in the seven-runner field. He's still acclimatising. Newcomer Looking Bright finished eased down after a speed-tracking run from gate three with money for him late in betting.
