Horse No 2 HINOKAMI KAGURA (H384) M Chadwick Jumped awkwardly.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 THE CONCENTRATION (H465) C L Chau Bumped on jumping.
After the event C L Chau reported that his mount did not travel well during the race and as a result did not run on in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 4 GLORIOUS EXPERT (J028) L Hewitson Stumbled on jumping.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 5 LUCKY GENERATIONS (J338) E C W Wong Jumped awkwardly.
Over-raced in the early stages and raced wide and without cover from the 700 Metres.
Horse No 7 CHEER FOR SOUTH (H178) A Atzeni After the event A Atzeni stated that when caught wide in the early stages he was obliged to make some use of his mount to take up a position outside the lead.
He said in the Home Straight CHEER FOR SOUTH did not respond to his riding and raced in a disappointing manner.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 8 FALCON COURT (J056) H Bowman Jumped only fairly and then was crowded by DOUBLE BINGO which shifted out.
Horse No 9 PATCH OF WATCH (H476) P N Wong Bumped on jumping.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 10 SPEEDY FORTUNE (H097) K C Leung A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Patch Of Watch led from gate nine and never looked back for a second win to go with a second and fourth from his past four starts. He did trial very well and does travel exceptionally for 10-pound claimer Britney Wong. Hinokami Kagura stayed on a non-threatening second after a handy run one off the fence with cover. He's building towards a win with placings in three of his past four starts. Double Bingo ran on well three off the fence to just take third after a rails run from midfield. It was a better effort with a return to the all-weather track. Falcon Court ran on well to just miss a placing after making his run two from the rear. He has not produced a bad run in his first all-weather starts this term. Superb Move ran on late near the inside for fifth after making his run behind midfield on the fence. It was a positive showing at his first go over the dirt 1,200m. Lucky Generations was still last near the 100m but eventually roared home late to just miss fifth. It was an encouraging effort from the widest draw.
