Well-backed Keefy after a perfect trip in the box seat eye-balled and just went by Highland Rahy 60m out for a second straight win. He's in rich vein of form but will likely find things tougher back in Class Two. Punted late Highland Rahy gave a cheeky sight after setting a genuine pace from gate two but found one better on the day. He continues to race well with placings in three straight runs after back-to-back wins. Sky Trust just got up late for third without threatening the top two after a one-off trip from better than midfield. It was another honest performance. Early favourite Another World gave best late for fourth after tracking the speed from gate seven. He went okay at his first attempt over the Valley 1,650m. Excellence Value ran on steadily for fifth after a one-off trip from behind midfield. He didn't get a race run to suit. Supreme Agility made ground late for sixth after a conservative ride second last from gate nine. He will be a force to be reckoned with if he opts to step out in Class Four next time. Post-time favourite Prestige Good was stopping 100m out after a prominent run wide without cover.

Race Eight : (735) - VIOLET HILL HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1650Meters

Horse No 1 KEEFY (G306) M F Poon Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 3 ANOTHER WORLD (K005) Z Purton Lay in over the final 250 Metres and proved difficult to ride out over the concluding stages.

Horse No 4 ROMANTIC LAOS (G476) C L Chau From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Between the 300 Metres and the 250 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the outside of SUPREME AGILITY.

Horse No 5 EXCELLENCE VALUE (K093) L Ferraris After the event L Ferraris stated that his mount did not appreciate racing tight between IVY LEAGUE and STAR CONTACT making the Home Turn and after being provided clear running in the Home Straight he was satisfied with the horse's finishing effort, particularly as it was not entirely comfortable on the "Good to Yielding" track conditions.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings Horse No 7 PRESTIGE GOOD (K131) K C Leung After the event K C Leung reported that he was instructed to go forward but with the pace of the event being run inside of standard time in the early stages he was unable to cross runners to his inside.

He said as a consequence PRESTIGE GOOD was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event and finished the race off only fairly in the Home Straight.

He added that, in his opinion, the horse may not have been suited by the "Good to Yielding" track conditions.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 8 HARMONY GALAXY (J266) B Avdulla Near the 1300 Metres made contact with the running rail and became unbalanced when racing tight to the inside of RAGGA BOMB which was eased when being crossed by EXCELLENCE VALUE (L Ferraris) which shifted in.

L Ferraris was advised to exercise more care.

Near the 150 Metres was eased when racing tight to the inside of ANOTHER WORLD which shifted in slightly.

After the event B Avdulla reported that his mount travelled well during the race, came under pressure making the Home Turn and did not respond to his riding in the Home Straight.

He added the horse may not have appreciated the "Good to Yielding" track conditions.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 9 HIGHLAND RAHY (J298) L Hewitson Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 10 IVY LEAGUE (H116) K Teetan On jumping made contact with the left side of its barrier and then from the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
