Was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race.
Shifted in at the start and was bumped.

Horse No 4 AURORA LADY (J066) M F Poon On jumping was bumped by BEAUTY WAVES which shifted in.

Lay out in the middle stages and near the 700 Metres and again near the 600 Metres made contact with the running rail.

Beauty Waves sat third on the grandstand side, claimed the lead from Stellar Express 300m out and hung tough for a fifth win from 21 starts and second this term from four straight 1,000m runs. Favourite Wunderbar made it close on the wire after a prominent run near the far side from a low draw. It was another solid effort with a step back in distance carrying top weight following a 1,200m win. Magic Control kept on gamely to finish a close third after prompting the pace from gate five. He doesn't know how to run a bad race over the straight 1,000m. Stellar Express grudgingly gave way after dictating the pace from gate six. It was an OK effort in a higher grade. Horsepower produced only a grinding effort after recovering from a sluggish start to settling midfield. He's found things harder against richer opposition in his past two starts after winning three of four Class Three starts.
