Favourite Ragnarr enjoyed a nice run one off travelling better than midfield and got up 80m out for a first win at his 25th start. He deserved that after placing in three prior starts. Noble Deluxe did everything right but get the win after leading 300m out tracking the speed one off from gate six. He's building towards a win on his three starts this term. Punted late Riding High ran on well near the inside for third after making his run third last following a sluggish start. It was a good run following a downgrade and stable change. Well-backed late Lucky Blessing had to settle for fourth after dictating the pace from gate four. He's gone all right in both Class Five runs for his new trainer this term. Ever Smart stayed on for fifth after a handy run along the inside. It was an improved effort from a better draw at his second start this term. The Concentration ran on without threatening after making his run towards the rear.

Race Three : (58) - NANNING HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1200Meters

Horse No 1 RIDING HIGH (J403) J Orman After the event J Orman stated that his mount commenced awkwardly and lost ground.

He said as a consequence RIDING HIGH settled further back in the field than what had been intended.

Horse No 3 THE CONCENTRATION (H465) C L Chau Approaching the 700 Metres was checked when crowded between YOU'REMYEVERYTHING which lay out and MODEST GENTLEMAN (A Atzeni) which shifted in before being corrected by its rider.

A Atzeni was severely reprimanded.

Horse No 4 SUPER CHARIZZARD (J184) B Avdulla Jumped awkwardly.

From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Trainer M Newnham confirmed that from the outside barrier he had instructed B Avdulla to ride the horse in a conservative manner in the early stages.

Horse No 5 NOBLE DELUXE (K052) H Bowman Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 6 RAGNARR (H297) Z Purton Lay out on the Home Turn.

Horse No 7 CONCORDE STAR (J344) R Kingscote After the event R Kingscote stated that he was instructed to endeavour to hold a forward position.

He said when his mount was unable to cross runners to its inside CONCORDE STAR was obliged to race very wide and without cover for the majority of the event and as a consequence gave ground in the Home Straight.

Trainer Y S Tsui confirmed the instructions and stated that they were issued on the basis that the horse had raced disappointingly last preparation when being ridden in a conservative manner in the early stages.

Horse No 11 MODEST GENTLEMAN (G352) A Atzeni On jumping made contact with the right side of the starting gate, became unbalanced and lost ground.

From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Briefly held up for clear running between the 400 Metres and the 350 Metres.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 12 GLORIOUS EXPERT (J028) H Bentley Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Horse No 13 DOUBLE SHOW (G250) K Teetan After the event K Teetan stated that after settling in a midfield position his mount found it difficult to make up any ground in the Home Straight from that position.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No SUNNY DARLING (J171) E C W Wong Withdrawn on 30.9.25 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (swollen left front fetlock) and replaced by Standby Declared Starter THE CONCENTRATION.

Before being allowed to race again, SUNNY DARLING will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
