Recap by phillip woo

Outsider Matters Most led and never looked back from gate 10 for a second win at his 13th start. It was clearly his best run from nine starts in Class Three. Favourite Super Strong Kid stayed on second best after a box-seat run. He had his chance but was having his first run in Class Three. Alsonso plugged on one paced for third after a speedtracking run from gate eight. He's building towards a win with placings in three consecutive runs. Devas Twelve just held his ground to finish fourth after a prominent run one off the fence from gate 11. Flying Knight ran on steadily for fifth from behind midfield on the fence. He's gone all right in both outings this season. Power Koepp made ground late without threatening after a one-off trip travelling behind midfield. Second favourite Yee Cheong Glory peaked on his run 100m out after hunting forward to sit midfield on the inside following a slow start.
