Recap by phillip woo

Early favourite Talents Supremo started slowly before settling three back on the fence and hitting the front 150m en route to a strong win. He lived up to an eye-catching second last month for his new trainer and was able to give jockey Zac Purton milestone win number 1,900. Run Run Timing stayed on second best following a handy run on the fence. It was a good run for his new trainer down in Class Five. Podium stormed home late down the outside for third after a patient ride one from the rear. He appreciated the return to the Valley 1,200m of a second-up win last season. Happy Horse made good ground late for fourth after making his run four back on the fence. It was a good effort at his first outing following knee surgery in March. Colonel knocked up late for fifth after rolling straight to the front from gate four. He's shown progress in his four starts this term and can shortly steal a race in front. Glory Cloud didn't find much when popped the question after tracking the leader from gate 10. He will need to drop further in the handicaps. Joyful Treasure just held his ground after a one-off trip from midfield.
