Horse No 1 SNOWFIELD (K251) C Y Ho Jumped only fairly.
Horse No 2 ARIEL (G223) E C W Wong Bumped at the start.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 4 DRAGON AIR FORCE (J279) H Bowman Leaving the 200 Metres shifted out slightly and was bumped on the hindquarters by PRECISION GOAL which was taken in.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 5 TURIN MASCOT (H165) J McDonald From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 6 KEMPES (J265) A Atzeni Jumped awkwardly.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 7 RELIABLE PROFIT (G462) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 8 LOCH TAY (K356) R Kingscote Hung in in the Home Straight and proved difficult to ride out.
A warning was placed on the racing manners of LOCH TAY.

Horse No 9 MASK RIDER (K169) M Chadwick A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 10 ENDEARED (H161) K Teetan Jumped awkwardly.
Horse No 11 NEVER PETER OUT (J200) H T Mo Shifted out at the start and bumped with ARIEL.
Raced keenly in the early stages and for some distance near the 1200 Metres was steadied away from RELIABLE PROFIT.
Horse No 12 PRECISION GOAL (H016) H Doyle Badly crowded leaving the 200 Metres.
Horse No 13 GOOD LUCK BABE (K016) Y L Chung Passing the 200 Metres was checked when crowded by LOCH TAY (R Kingscote) which hung in despite the efforts of its rider.
As a result GOOD LUCK BABE was taken in and made heavy contact with PRECISION GOAL.
The Stewards found that LOCH TAY was hanging in during this incident and were of the opinion that Jockey Kingscote had made significant endeavour to prevent the horse from shifting in.
However, he was severely reprimanded and advised that in similar circumstances he would be expected to stop riding and straighten his mounts when they shift ground.

Loch Tay settled handy, came off the fence around the turn and got up near the 100m for a first win at his second local start. He appreciated the switch in surfaces and step up to 1,650m. Well-backed Dragon Air Force ran on nicely for second from just worse than midfield on the fence. He rarely produces a bad run on this surface. Favourite Reliable Profit made ground from behind midfield for third. It was another good run up in grade after a win over the dirt 1,800m. Snowfield came from near last for fourth. It was a good run at his initial all-weather start after making good ground late for fifth last start over 2,000m. Kempes made only a mild bid ridden closer than normal travelling midfield. He just doesn't run out a strong mile trip. Good Luck Babe was hampered late after looking one paced following a box-seat run. Mask Rider was on his tippy toes 100m out after working to the lead from gate four.
