Recap by phillip woo

Supreme Sea was prominently placed on the fence and after claiming the lead 250m out, he was too smart for a winning debut after catching the eye from the trials. He's got a bright future. Monta Frutta ran on nicely to take second after a patient ride third last. He appreciated a return to his preferred dirt surface after a closing seventh on his season debut last month on turf. Juicy Dragon stayed on nicely for third after a wide trip from better than midfield. He was able to build on an improved fifth last start over the Valley 1,200m. Thunder Prince ran on steadily for fourth without threatening the top three after a one-off trip from midfield. It was another honest performance. Day Day Victory succumbed late after have to work to lead Beauty Thunder without cover from gate eight. He's found things harder in his past two starts following back-to-back wins.
