Racing Incident Report
Race Two : (335) - WU KAI SHA HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 MAJESTIC VALOUR (L016) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 QUICK MONEY (K377) C L Chau Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 4 HONORARY (K481) K C Leung Near the 250 Metres was steadied when badly held up for clear running behind HAPPY ALLIANCE which was commencing to give ground.
As a result HONORARY was shifted to the inside of HAPPY ALLIANCE and MONEY TYCOON where it obtained clear running near the 200 Metres.
K C Leung reported that after jumping awkwardly and losing ground he was obliged to settle behind midfield and further back than what had been intended.
He added HONORARY raced greenly throughout the event.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 5 LUCKY RANGER (L071) L Ferraris Jumped only fairly.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 SEA DIAMOND (L072) H Bowman Shifted in on jumping and bumped with DASH.
Horse No 8 HAPPY ALLIANCE (K316) C Y Ho Jumped only fairly.
Horse No 10 YEUX DE LIFELINE (K455) A Atzeni Jumped only fairly.
Horse No 11 AUTUMN VIBES (K150) M Guyon Approaching the 1100 Metres was crowded for room between WARRIORS DREAM and MONEY TYCOON which lay out before being corrected by its rider M L Yeung.
Near the 350 Metres was checked when disappointed for clear running between MONEY TYCOON and HAPPY ALLIANCE.
AUTUMN VIBES was then shifted to the inside of MONEY TYCOON to obtain clear running near the 300 Metres.
M Guyon reported that his instructions were to lead.
He said his mount jumped only fairly and then was bumped by HONORARY which shifted in.
He added after being crowded approaching the 1100 Metres this resulted in AUTUMN VIBES settling further back than intended.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 12 DASH (K250) L Hewitson On jumping was crowded by SEA DIAMOND which shifted in.

Punted late Majestic Valour comfortably lead from gate nine and was much too good for a second win from three starts. Firming as the favourite on debut, Lucky Ranger ran on nicely after straightening widest out for second following a patient ride travelling wide and towards the rear from gate 12. He will be winning races in no time. Warriors Dream stayed on for third after a prominent run one off the fence. He was able to build on a fifth last start for his new trainer at the Valley. Sea Diamond ran on well for fourth after slotting two-to-three deep with cover from behind midfield. It was an encouraging debut performance. Holmes A Court made a mild bid after a rails run from midfield. It was a better effort following a downgrade.
