Horse No 1 BLAZING WUKONG (K335) D B McMonagle Jumped awkwardly.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 ROBOT STAR (K559) Z Purton Shifted in at the start and was bumped.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 THE GOLDEN KNIGHT (K341) H Bowman Crowded on jumping between SMART FAT CAT and ROBOT STAR, both of which shifted ground.
Was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 5 AMAZING AWARD (J236) C L Chau Between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres had some difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the outside of ROBOT STAR.
Horse No 6 PING HAI COMET (H344) A Atzeni A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 7 SMART FAT CAT (K280) J McDonald Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when racing in restricted room between GLORIASTAR and AMAZING AWARD.
J McDonald stated that his mount jumped well today and settled in a more slightly forward position than its previous race starts.
He said in the Home Straight SMART FAT CAT finished the race off only fairly.
Horse No 8 GLORIASTAR (K439) L Ferraris Between the 400 Meres and the 250 Metres was held up for clear running.
L Ferraris stated that he was asked to ride the horse in a more conservative manner in the early stages with blinkers being removed as GLORIASTAR finished its recent races off only fairly when being asked to go forward.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 9 FORTUNE KINGO (K457) R Kingscote Shifted in at the start and was bumped.
Horse No 10 FRANTANCK (H429) Y L Chung Blundered badly on jumping, became unbalanced and lost ground.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer" which had previously been reported.
Horse No 11 SPLENDID FORCE (K120) H Bentley On jumping was crowded by FORTUNE KINGO which shifted in.
Horse No 12 ACE (K307) M Guyon Between the 450 Metres and the 350 Metres was held up for clear running.
M Guyon reported that he was instructed to settle where comfortable.
He said after his mount jumped well and under its light weight of 119 lbs he was able to hold an on-pace position.
Horse No 13 DASHING MAURISON (K374) M L Yeung From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Lay in under pressure in the Home Straight.
Horse No 14 YOUNG HORIZON (G272) K Teetan Jumped awkwardly.
In the early stages raced ungenerously and got its head up.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have blood in its mouth and also to be a "roarer".

Blazing Wukong made his run three wide travelling fifth last from gate 12 to win going away 150m out for a second success at his eighth start. He relished a return to Class Four. Robot Star found one too good leading 200m out after improving three wide without cover until slotting one-out, one-back 900m out. It was another good run carrying 6lb more with a step up to 1,600m. Rank outsider Dashing Maurison rattled home late for third after making his run second last from gate 14. It was a much-improved effort with a step up to 1,600m at his seventh start. Ace kept on well for fourth after a box-seat run. He did run on well for fifth at his second run over 1,400m from three other starts. The Lion King peaked on his run 100m out after leading 300m out following a speed-tracking run. It was a typical performance.
