Racing Incident Report
Race Eleven : (465) - ROSE HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1400Meters
Horse No 1 SIX PACK (K061) L Ferraris Shifted in at the start and bumped heavily with BRILLIANT EXPRESS.
Horse No 4 BEAUTY CRESCENT (H334) Y L Chung Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 5 BRILLIANT EXPRESS (J321) D B McMonagle Jumped only fairly and then was checked when crowded between HEAVING and SIX PACK, both of which shifted ground.
Horse No 7 HEAVING (K576) C L Chau Shifted out at the start and bumped heavily with BRILLIANT EXPRESS.
C L Chau reported that his mount raced ungenerously throughout the early and middle stages and as a result was unable to finish the race off strongly in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 8 PERFECT TEAM (H120) R Kingscote Shifted out on jumping and made contact with GREY CHARGER.
From a wide barrier was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 9 SALON S (K585) M F Poon Raced keenly in the lead in the early and middle stages.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 10 MIGHTY STRENGTH (H450) H T Mo From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 12 GHORGAN (K199) A Badel Between the 400 Metres and the 200 Metres was held up when being shifted to the outside of HAROLD WIN and SIX PACK to obtain clear running.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 13 LEAPING STAR (L189) M L Yeung Had its right front plate refitted in the saddling stalls, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race.
Horse No 14 GREY CHARGER (K425) M Chadwick Kicked a rail on the way to the Start, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race.
Bumped on jumping.

Salon S led by four lengths at one point from gate eight and won easily to remain unbeaten in three starts. He did it in a very good time and it's onwards and upwards for the three-year-old. Punted late Ghorgan ran on well to snatch second travelling near the inside from midfield. He's run well three times over 1,400m from his past four starts. Harold Win stayed on well for a placing after facing the breeze travelling third from gate 10. He rarely produces a bad run over 1,400m. Six Pack ran on for fourth travelling midfield after a tardy start. It was another honest effort. Ka Ying Attack had to settle for fifth after a prominent run on the fence from gate two. He couldn't back up seconds in two of his past three starts. Sky Heart weakened over the final 150m after chasing the winner on the fence from gate 14. Brilliant Express ran on late without threatening travelling second last after getting squeezed out at the start.
