Racing Incident Report
Race Three : (457) - JASMINE HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1800Meters
Horse No 2 BEAUTY MISSILE (H123) H Bowman Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 IRON LEGION (J459) Y L Chung Y L Chung stated that the horse jumped well today and as a result he was able to lead the event.
He added that IRON LEGION did not respond to his riding in the Home Straight and, in his opinion, did not run out a strong 1800 Metres.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 4 ON THE LASH (J182) L Ferraris Near the 450 Metres was bumped by FAMILY FORTUNE when that runner shifted out in an attempt to improve.
Horse No 5 HAILTOTHEVICTORS (J508) M Guyon Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 6 ROMANTIC FANTASY (H168) A Badel Contacted slightly over the concluding stages by COOL BLUE.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 7 FURY AND GOLD (H202) K Teetan Jumped only fairly.
From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Near the 250 Metres K Teetan dropped his whip.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be lame in its left front leg.
Before being allowed to race again, FURY AND GOLD will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 8 FAMILY FORTUNE (H447) E C W Wong After being held up for clear running making the Home Turn FAMILY FORTUNE endeavoured to improve into a run between ON THE LASH and SMART TRIO near the 450 Metres when there was not sufficient room to do so.
When SMART TRIO then shifted out slightly FAMILY FORTUNE was checked when disappointed for clear running between ON THE LASH and SMART TRIO.
Apprentice E C W Wong was reprimanded and advised that he must ensure that there is sufficient room for him to improve when attempting runs.
Horse No 9 MEEPMEEP (H234) J Orman Between the 200 Metres and the 100 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running.
Horse No 11 COOL BLUE (H011) Z Purton Jumped only fairly.
Over the final 200 Metres lay out under pressure.
Over the concluding stages shifted out and made slight contact with ROMANTIC FANTASY.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 12 CHATEAU LE PECHE (H471) C Y Ho Jumped only fairly.
Horse No 13 HARRY'S HERO (H332) M F Poon From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Approaching the 400 Metres was held up for clear running when being shifted to the outside of RATTAN GALAXY.
Horse No 14 WISDOM STAR (J351) H T Mo A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Cool Blue made his run five back on the fence and responded nicely through the centre to get up 50m out for a second win from 34 starts. Romantic Fantasy finished well for second after a one-off trip from behind midfield. He's a winner waiting to happen with seconds in three consecutive runs across both tracks. Favourite Beauty Missile found a couple too good after leading 250m out following a one-off trip from better than midfield. A weight rise of 6lb took its toll after a win last start over the Valley 1,800m. Punted late Hailtothevictors stayed on well for fourth after a wide trip without cover travelling midfield. It was a good run on his return to turf after placing second at his first of three consecutive all-weather runs. Meepmeep ran on late just to the outside of the winner for fifth after making his run fourth last. It was an OK effort.
