Recap by phillip woo

Legend Star travelled fourth last and after being popped the question 450m out, he got up 100m out near the outside for a second win over the Valley 1,200m. He relished both a return to the Valley and light weight. Tactical Command ran on nicely for second after a rails run from midfield. It was his best effort from seven outings this term. Punted late Iconical stayed on well to just take third after a prominent run wide and without cover. It was his best performance from six starts over the Valley 1,200m. Very Grate- ful came from near last and widest out to nearly place. He should find his mark shortly in this grade. Favourite Dan Attack stayed on a non-threatening fifth after over-racing travelling wide and with cover in midfield. Debutant Cheerful Wongchoy was on his tippy toes 100m out after working like a trojan four wide to eventually lead 800m out. He had an excuse. Supreme Feeling ran on without threatening ridden last from gate 12. He's gone okay once across each track from three starts but is still a work in progress. Gimme Five found nothing under pressure after a handy run.
