Horse No 1 GENTLEMEN LEGACY (K385) H Bowman Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 KARMA (G392) D B McMonagle Jumped only fairly.
D B McMonagle dropped his whip leaving the 500 Metres.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 3 LIVEANDLETLIVE (K156) M Chadwick M Chadwick stated that his mount was disadvantaged by being pressured in the lead from the 1000 Metres when SKY VINO went forward.
He said as a result LIVEANDLETLIVE did not finish the race off in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 4 SHANWAH (L123) B Avdulla Jumped awkwardly.
From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Horse No 5 AERODYNAMICS (K564) Z Purton Over the final 150 Metres lay out and proved difficult to ride to the finish.
Horse No 6 NOISY BOY (J536) A Badel Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
Between the 300 Metres and the 150 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running.

Horse No 9 SKY VINO (K054) E C W Wong Raced wide and without cover in the early stages and as a result was allowed to stride forward where it obtained a position outside the lead near the 1000 Metres.
Horse No 11 FORTUNE BOY (K098) H Bentley From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 12 THE AUSPICIOUS (K004) M Guyon Between the 500 Metres and the 300 Metres was held up for clear running when unable to improve between PACKING FIGHTER and AERODYNAMICS.
Over the concluding stages had difficulty obtaining clear running when improving to the inside of GENTLEMEN LEGACY.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 13 PACKING FIGHTER (L112) Y L Chung As L Hewitson was unable to make the weight of 115 lbs on PACKING FIGHTER, Y L Chung was substituted as the rider of that horse.
Jockey Hewitson was fined the sum of $5,000.
Over the concluding stages was held up for clear running behind MONEY CATCHER.
Y L Chung advised that with its light weight he was asked to go forward from the outside barrier.
Horse No 14 AGENDA (K160) M F Poon A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Gentlemen Legacy travelled five back and one off the fence, and after rushing to the lead 160m out, he kept finding for back-to-back wins carrying 135lb. He doesn't know how to produce a bad run. Fortune Boy ran on nicely widest out to grab second after making his run fourth last from gate 13. He was able to back up a closing fourth last month at his initial run over 2,000m. Old-timer Money Catcher stayed on well for third after approaching the straight three wide from midfield. He continues to race when after a change in tactics. Aerodynamics stayed on for fourth after a prominent run on the fence. It was good effort with a step up to 2,000m. Smashed to jump favourite The Auspicious was an unlucky fifth after getting badly held up and hampered 250m out following a rails run from midfield. He should have finished closer.
