Racing Incident Report
Race One : (495) - SUFFOLK HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1000Meters
Horse No 2 CASA PRIMO (L201) R Kingscote On jumping bumped with RUN RUN SUNRISE due to both horses shifting ground.
Lay out over the final 200 Metres when placed under pressure.
Approaching the finish was hampered when taken in by HEROIC MASTER.
Horse No 3 CLASSIC TRIPLE (L212) A Atzeni Noted to have blood at the mouth on arrival at the start, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race.
Bumped with LOVING VIBES on jumping due to both runners shifting ground.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 4 DRAGON HALL (K345) J Orman After the 500 Metres was steadied when crowded by LOVING VIBES which was taken out by CLASSIC TRIPLE (A Atzeni) which shifted ground whilst racing greenly and laying out.
Whilst the Stewards acknowledged the racing manners of CLASSIC TRIPLE had contributed to the incident, Jockey Atzeni was reprimanded and advised he is required to make a greater effort to prevent his mounts from shifting ground whilst not clear.
Horse No 6 GREEN FIELD PEARL (K460) C Y Ho Shortly after the start became unbalanced when it made contact with RUN RUN SUNRISE.
Throughout the event lay out.
C Y Ho reported that, in his opinion, the horse would be advantaged by being stepped up in distance for its next race start.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 7 MAPOGO (L175) M F Poon M F Poon stated that his mount was able to lead the event but when placed under pressure in the Home Straight commenced to race greenly and when he applied the whip to the horse near the 200 Metres it shifted in abruptly, resulting in his mount becoming unbalanced and he having to stop riding and straighten the horse.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 8 RUN RUN SUNRISE (K552) K C Leung On jumping bumped with CASA PRIMO due to both horses shifting ground.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 9 AWESOME TREASURE (E435) E C W Wong Near the 200 Metres was eased and shifted to the inside of CASA PRIMO to continue into clear running.
Approaching the finish was hampered when taken in by CASA PRIMO.
Horse No 10 LUCKY SECRET (L073) M L Yeung Jumped only fairly and shortly after the start became unbalanced when bumped by COMET RADIANCE.
Horse No 11 COMET RADIANCE (L067) Y L Chung Bumped shortly after the start.
Near the 200 Metres raced in restricted room for a short distance between RUN RUN SUNRISE and MAPOGO which shifted in slightly.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 12 LOVING VIBES (J359) C L Chau Bumped with CLASSIC TRIPLE on jumping due to both runners shifting ground.
Horse No 13 HEROIC MASTER (G394) A Badel Lay out when placed under pressure over the final 200 Metres.
After the 50 Metres improved to the inside of RUN RUN SUNRISE to obtain clear running and then was inconvenienced approaching the finish when RUN RUN SUNRISE shifted in.
Horse No 5 FLOWING (K556) M Chadwick Slipped over whilst leaving the Parade Ring.
Was withdrawn by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice.
Before being allowed to race again, FLOWING will be required to pass a pre-race parade test and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Run Run Sunrise settled midfield and responded nicely near the far side from a low draw to take control 180m out for a maiden win at his third start. He was able to back up a near win last start following a gear change. Comet Radiance stayed on well after a handy run through the middle to grab second. It was a much better effort after managing only an opening fourth from his first three starts. Heroic Master made good ground late through the centre to take third after biding his time second last from gate 11. It was a much-improved performance for his new trainer. Raging favourite Mapogo gradually faded over the final 100m after taking a bad stride just under the 200m setting the pace from gate nine. He was costly but it wasn't a bad effort on debut.
