Racing Incident Report
Race Four : (498) - RUTLAND HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 FUN N FUN TOGETHER (J232) Z Purton Z Purton stated that although his mount was able to lead it did not travel strongly and he had some concerns with its action.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea.
Before being allowed to race again, FUN N FUN TOGETHER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 2 FLOWING RICHES (K293) M L Yeung On jumping shifted out and made contact with GLORY CLOUD.
FLOWING RICHES was then shifted in towards FUN N FUN TOGETHER.
After travelling a short distance FLOWING RICHES shifted out and away from FUN N FUN TOGETHER, crowding GLORY CLOUD.
Horse No 3 FORZA LEADER (L034) B Avdulla Lay out in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 6 GOOD CHAP (J499) A Atzeni Raced keenly in the early stages.
When being crossed by CONRAD THE GREAT after the 800 Metres shifted out when being steadied away from CONRAD THE GREAT.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 7 FLYING CHRISTIE (K483) J Orman Jumped only fairly and then shortly after the start was steadied when crowded between FORZA LEADER and SHINYU KOKOROE, both of which shifted ground.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 8 KING DANCE (K157) C Y Ho After travelling a short distance shifted in and became badly unbalanced when it made contact with GLORY CLOUD.
C Y Ho reported that after becoming unbalanced his mount failed to travel throughout the early stages.
Horse No 9 CONRAD THE GREAT (K217) R Kingscote Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 12 GLORY CLOUD (H320) A Badel After travelling a short distance was crowded by FLOWING RICHES.
Raced very wide and without cover from the 700 Metres.

Favourite Good Chap ran on from midfield to hit the front 100m out and proved too good for back-to-back wins after a switch to dirt. He's got more points in hand on this surface. Conrad The Great kept on gamely for second after leading 150m out following a wide trip without cover chasing the leading pair from gate 12. He was able to build on an improved fifth at his first dirt 1,200m run last start. Punted late Flowing Riches kept on well for third after a speed-chasing run from gate eight. He lived up to a placing last start on this surface. Well-backed late World Hero ran on well for fourth after a one-off trip from behind midfield. He didn't mind a switch in surface after a fourth last start on turf. Natural High just held his ground after a prominent run. It was a better effort at his second run this term.
