Recap by phillip woo

Stunning Peach charged late down the outside from near the rear to overhaul Beauty Alliance 50m out for a second straight win and second from his past four starts. Beauty Alliance did everything right but get the win after leading 230m out following a prominent run with cover from gate six. It was an improved effort with a step up to 1,800m at his fourth start this term. Ka Ying Generation ran on nicely near the outside for third after straightening two from the rear. It was a return to form, but he was suited by the swift pace. Fortune Boy ran on late through the centre for fourth after making his run one from the rear. It was an encouraging effort despite being nine points out of the handicap in a higher grade. Encountered came from last and near the inside for fifth. The big weight anchored him.
