Recap by phillip woo

Endued tracked the speed from gate 14 before leading 300m and finding plenty for a second win and first in this grade plus two placings from six starts this term. Smart Avenue was closing with every stride to make it close on the wire after getting into the clear just under the 200m following a patient ride fourth last. It was a terrific effort in race run at a slow pace. Favourite The Red Hare stayed on a close third but did have his chance after a one-out, one-back run. It was an honest performance. Glittering Legend stayed on well for fourth after a prominent run on the fence. It was his best effort from three local runs. The Boom Box ran well for fifth after getting held up between the 350m and 150m following a rails run from midfield. He should have finished closer. Lucky Twin Stars ran on steadily for sixth after a wide trip with cover from behind midfield.
