Age: 31. Dylan Mo began his overseas training in South Africa before continuing in New Zealand. His first stop was the South African Jockey Academy in Durban, which he entered in May 2013. He had his first race ride that December and notched five winners from 174 rides before transferring to New Zealand in December 2014. In New Zealand, Mo was based with the New Plymouth trainer Allan Sharrock, who had also hosted former apprentice Kei Chiong. Mo's first Hong Kong win came aboard Fish N' Chips on 1 January, 2017. He tallied 24 wins in his first Hong Kong season. He showed solid progress in his second season, riding 25 winners before his season was cut short due to injuries sustained in a barrier trial fall in late March 2018. He matched that tally of 25 in the 2018/19 season and has added a further 39 wins since then.
