Race Three: (207)-THE HONG KONG GOLF CLUB CENTENARY CUP (HANDICAP) - Class 2 - 1000Metres
YOU READ MY MIND shifted out at the start and bumped TOUR DE FORCE.BULLISH BOY began awkwardly.
Making the turn after the 600 Metres, GO BABY GO got its head on the side and lay out.
Passing the 200 Metres, CHARITY JOY raced in restricted room inside CALIFORNIA BOUNTY which got its head on the side and shifted in when giving ground.
A veterinary inspection of CALIFORNIA BOUNTY and IMPERIAL CHAMPION immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
CHARITY JOY, TOUR DE FORCE and YOU READ MY MIND were sent for sampling.

Tour De Force travelled second from the rear early on, pinched ground to have three behind him coming to the final bend, angled into the clear widest out at the 250m and let down nicely carrying top weight to grab victory 30m out. Firming late, You Read My Mind settled third and one off the rails, advanced to the front four deep at the 200m and found one too good in the end. Late-fancied favourite Charity Joy travelled four along the rails, stayed to the inside upon straightening and kept on all right for a placing. Imperial Champion sat on the back of the leader, straightened three deep and kept on one-paced over the final 100m. Bullish Boy was beaten for speed, turned the final bend three from the right and only got by beaten rivals. California Bounty cleared to lead from gate seven at the 650m, cornered a length on top and was yielding ground 200m out. Go Baby Go was beaten a long ways out following a one-off run without cover at times in midfield.
