Racing Incident Report
Race Eight: (426) - DAISY HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1650Meters
GENEROUS HEART began only fairly and then was shifted across behind runners in the early stages to obtain cover.
TEN FLAMES shifted in at the start and bumped SUPER FORM.
Then from a wide barrier, SUPER FORM was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.
Shortly after the start, FORTUNE PATROL was shifted away from the heels of OUR HERO which shifted out when being ridden along.
MISTER MONTE lost its right hind plate shortly after the start.
Passing the 850 Metres, MAJESTIC ENDEAVOUR was taken into a three wide position without cover by OUR HERO which shifted out.
Approaching the 300 Metres, THUNDER STOMP was disappointed for running between LITTERATEUR and BIG BANG BONG.
THUNDER STOMP was consequently shifted to the outside of BIG BANG BONG to obtain clear running.
Close to the finishing line, SUPER FORM and BIG BANG BONG raced tight.
A veterinary inspection of HAPPY SPIRIT, MAJESTIC ENDEAVOUR and RIGHT CALL immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
MISTER MONTE, LITTERATEUR and OUR HERO were sent for sampling.

Additional Veterinary Reports from Sha Tin Racemeeting on 10 February 2018 Subsequent official veterinary inspections (without endoscopy) of GOLDEN DASH, REFINED TREASURE, GOKO, ULTIMATE GLORY, TANG FLEMING, TRAVEL FIRST, AGREE, DIAMOND DRAGON, GOLDIE FLANKER, STARTLING POWER, ELITE BOY, PLANET STAR, LUCKY TIME, DIAMOND FRIENDS, ELUSIVE STATE, KIROV, CONTE, EASY GO EASY WIN, APOLLO'S CHOICE, ROYAL MOJITO, STRATHCLYDE, UGLY WARRIOR, HOUSE OF FUN, PERPETUAL JOYANCE and MARVEL TRIBE revealed no apparent abnormality.

Early favourite Litterateur held off a surge of runners late after quickening to lead near the inside at the 200m following a ground-saving run behind midfield to notch a third win from eight starts over this Valley trip. Specked late Our Hero stayed on nicely three from the right after settling one-out, one-back to just grab second at a price. He's not reliable. Post-time favourite Mister Monte ran on steadily with one wider out after travelling midfield to make it close for second. He's yet to run a bad race in five outings over this Valley trip and might be ready to tackle 1,800m now. Big Bang Bong just failed to place after improving his position coming to the final bend following a midfield run on the fence. He's in the right grade and can pop up at any time. Super Form finished well near the inside to finish just out of the placings after a patient ride at the rear of the field. He's shown in four of five starts to have the ability to win a race soon in this grade.
