Post-time favourite Mister Arm came through along the inside to win going away 200m out after getting a lovely ride to find the box seat 1,100m out despite jumping from gate 10. He had put the writing on the wall last start at his second Class Five run. Early favourite All You Know ran on well after a one-off trip behind midfield to grab second close to home. He relished the downgrade and a return to his favourite Valley 1,650m. Happy Jai Jai lost second late after taking off four deep approaching the final bend following a one-off run in midfield. He's given a good sight in each of his three course-and-distance runs this term. Punted late Oh Bravo came from near last at the 800m to fill the frame following a downgrade. He's close to a win after coming up fourth best twice from three starts this term. Super Kin kept on one-paced over the final 150m after taking off from the back at the 850m. The pace went against him after fading back from gate 12. Sunny Baby succumbed in the last 100m after working too hard to make his run outside leader Scholar from a wide draw with money coming for him late. He had an excuse.

Racing Incident Report

Race One: (234) - AUSTRALIA HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1650Meters

HAPPY JAI JAI shifted out at the start and bumped the hindquarters of ALL BEST FRIENDS.

HAPPY JAI JAI was then crowded for room between ALL BEST FRIENDS which shifted in when unbalanced and BLAZING BEAT which shifted out.

Shortly after the start, SCHOLAR and ALL YOU KNOW brushed.

From wide barriers, JOY MASTER and SUPER KIN were steadied in the early stages to obtain cover.

Near the 1300 Metres, BLAZING BEAT raced close to the heels of MISTER ARM when being steadied to obtain cover behind that horse.

Passing the 600 Metres, JOY MASTER was awkwardly placed close to the heels of SUPER KIN.

Approaching the 400 Metres, ALL YOU KNOW was awkwardly placed between BLAZING BEAT and MISTER ARM.

Close to the finishing line, Z Purton (OH BRAVO) dropped his right rein.

D Lane (BLAZING BEAT) was spoken to regarding using the whip on a horse out of contention.

A veterinary inspection of JOY MASTER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

MISTER ARM and ALL YOU KNOW were sent for sampling.
